[OOC-I 'm late :| But I had so much fun ^.^]

Arcana

The Sun.

The Sun has long been a symbol for energy, vitality, joy and happiness. Strong and powerful, his radiance blessed any creative or spiritual endeavours. In readings, you will understand Card 19 if you imagine yourself to be a Sun God. How do you think and feel? You have total confidence in yourself. You are not cocky, but profoundly sure of your power. You have unlimited energy and glow with health. You have a greatness about you and stand out brilliantly. Finally, you see and understand all that is happening within your sphere. When you see this card, know that you will be successful at all you undertake. Now is the time to let your light shine.

This is a break through card. So often we go through the motions of our lives, wondering if we'll come out of the dark, curious if all our hard work is ever going to pay off. The Sun card is a clear message, that yes, indeed the proverbial flowers in the garden of life that we've painstakingly cared for are about to come in full bloom. When the vibrancy of the Sun card shines in a reading, everything is coming up roses.

Some frequent keywords used by tarot readers are:

• Optimism---Expansion---Being radiant---Positive feelings

• Enlightenment---Vitality---Innocence---Non-criticism

• Assurance---Energy---Personal power---Happiness

• Splendor---Brilliance---Joy ---Enthusiasm

Shadow

Name: España, instead of the English name ‘Spain’.

Description: Spain will be wearing a dark black uniform, a whip and a gun and he will look paler. His demeanor it’s the most evident difference, he barely smiles and when he does it’s so cynic and frightening that you want him to stop. He is serious and talks in a cold controlled voice.

Personality:  Spain shadow’s personality comes mostly from all the years he was under the dictatorship rule and his frustrations as a failed role model for his colonies. He will not trust strangers or be open to anybody, even those he knows, but at the same time he will force those he likes to stay with him. Don’t come near him, Lovino, for your sake.

He is not crazy. He’s is plain and simply cruel, and that is, if something, more scary than him being crazy without a reason. He has no mercy because there's no point on being compassionate and he likes things done his way because it’s the correct one. If you saw the movie ‘Pan's Labyrinth’ (Spanish: El Laberinto del Fauno, "The Labyrinth of the Faun") then imagine Spain’s personality has a darker version of the villain, Captain Vidal. He is deranged, a cynic who doesn't try to justify or explain his cruel acts. After all there's no way to justify fascism.

Let's use a example, If you offer him the wrong hand in order to greet him, the will crush your arm with his grip in order to make you remember the correct way. His shadow is nice like that :|

I can see that he and V will get along really well.

Dungeon/Enviroment: A place where normal Spain will never ever go if it’s not forced to do it, and that’s it’s El Real Monasterio de El Escorial. It’s a giant place built by General Franco to remember the dead of Spain's Civil War and his tomb. It’s situated in El Valle de Los Caídos (Valley of the Fallen) a truly chilling memorial to Spanish fascism. The site is marked by a huge cross, nearly 500 feet tall, which can be seen from 20 miles away, and which continues to grow, almost beyond reason, as you approach more closely along pine covered slopes. The cross and basilica were built by the forced labor of Republican prisoners after the civil war, oh irony.

The Shadow's 'True Form'

Name: It doesn't respond to any name, let's call him only 'The Dark Beast.'

Description: Spain’s Shadow looks exactly like that, a dark black shadow with the shape of a wolf with one eye, the left one. There’s a long scar that crosses the blind right eye. It also wears a necklace with cross around his neck.

Level: 53

Persona

Name: Hispania

Description: Opposite to his shadow, his persona looks like a Giant golden dog/wolf.

Spain is a nation, I didn’t really wanted to give him a persona with a determinate sex, and the same with Prussia. That’s why their personas represent in some way the animals associated with them. For a moment I wanted to give Spain a giant tomato as persona but…no >>’

Level: 65

Role/Category: Healer.
Elemental Resistance:
You could consider Sun to be a stronger version of Justice. Both Arcana shrug off Light attacks and are weak to dark attacks. However, Sun Personas generally eschew wielding Light attacks of their own in favor of a diverse body of general offensive spells.

Resist: Wind
Block: None
Absorb: Fire
Reflect: Light
Weak: Dark

Ziodyne                   Inflicts heavy Electricity damage upon one enemy.
Death                      Bound Inflicts heavy physical damage upon all enemies.
High Counter        20% chance of repelling an enemy's physical attack.
Auto-Maraku            Automatically casts Marakukaja at the start of the battle
Power Charge          Physical attack damage dealt next turn more than doubles
Elec Amp            Increases Electricity magic damage by 50%
Evade Physical           Triples evasion rate against physical attacks
Enduring Soul           Fully recovers HP when HP is depleted to zero (effect lasts only once per battle)

Spain's story when it comes to rulers is creepy :|

They needs to meet and have an epic fight, like, yesterday.

timey_wimey: (....WHAT.)

[personal profile] timey_wimey 2010-01-12 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
AWESOME. BUT TERRIFYING.

Pan's Labyrinth is one of my favourite films ever! ... In fact I might just watch it tonight since I have it with me. But that is why the idea of Vidal-but-worse-Spain scares me so much, sob. \;A;/

... d-don't break my neck, I'm very attached to my neck D8

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
That too. But Spain is history it's very dark you know. Thanks to franco there's a lot of people buried in mountains without even a name decent grave, just imagine being the country of the victims and the killers at the same time. It does wonders to your mental health.

I liked it too. And Vidal scares the hell out of me too :||||

You won't be once I'm done with you :D
timey_wimey: (This universe is so much bigger than me)

[personal profile] timey_wimey 2010-01-12 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Ffff, believe me I know, at least a little bit. My essay over the holidays was on the Law of Historical Memory, and there was plenty I had to write about in there about mass graves and things. :/

Vidal terrifies me, plain and simple. The fact that he's just so... idk, plain evil, in a very realistic way, is what does it, I think.

.... /b-backs away quickly D8

[identity profile] vengeful-virtue.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Poor dude. *pets*

YESSS. THEY MUST. With some epic stabbing. >:D

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
All the nation's history it's so bloody sometimes.

I know, I know, Sergi Lopez it's and awesome actor. It scares my to no end in the first scenes. Plus, he's so hardcore :/

/draws gun (be happy it's not a bottle). Where are you going?
timey_wimey: (I just realised something very hoshi--)

[personal profile] timey_wimey 2010-01-12 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
It's part and parcel of the whole gig, I guess.

Hardcore is one word for it, yeah. :/

/FFFFFFFFFFF. I don't know, somewhere!

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
/snugs :<

OH YES. Too bad no oen of them can worldhip. There will be snark :|

Shadow Spain is more like the /lets torture people, shot at his legs-vital regions/ punch them in the face with a bottle kind of guy. But yea.

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
It's our fault after all.

I can't even watch the scene where he kills a man with that bottle, it make me go cry in a corner ;;

/shoots at both of his legs That's not a proper answer.

I saw Pan's Labyrinth! Mostly because of the fact that Jim Henson's Creature Shop did all the puppets and set pieces, but aside from that, I loved it!

You are seriously going to break Naoto. All of your characters. Break her. Into itty bitty pieces...

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
It's a wonderful -and sometimes scary- movie. and I love the lulbaby song.

Wait until I finish the info for Aoko >:D

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh god, was it ever! The scariest parts are what happens in the "real world" and not the Labyrinth, which I think was the point of the whole film.

Dammit, not Aoko, too... D:

[identity profile] morethanabot.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
...That is one awesome Shadow.

[identity profile] ofhopeandglory.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
True, sadly.

I have to cover my eyes for a lot of parts of that film. ;;

/zsjfbjzbfjzd O-OW Fine, anywhere but here!

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
EXACTLY! it's in fact a movie more about the Spanish war and the resistance than the fairy tale world. :<

Aoko too, yessummm...

Btw I'm reading the fanfic you wrote, it's amazing, but my mom calls me ;3; brb!

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
@^_^@ Thankkks~

>>' it was also a scary reality.

[identity profile] morethanabot.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I know. Spain is one of many countries with an extremely bloody history

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
:<

yeah, me too a few times >>'

/grins (uh ho) Looks like you can't go anywhere now *comes closer, drawing back the gun but now playing with a razor.* Let's talk.

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed! I love how they show Videl's cruelty...

I-I'm glad you liked it! I'm very tempted to make the events canon, if you agree to it... /shot!

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Because it's one of the oldest ones :(

[identity profile] land-of-the-sun.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
...And they don't try to justify it. Me too.

Sure thing >8) The towerclockthat it hsi dungeon is supposed to have a lot of rooms with a lot of beds, Hakuba is in another different one, on the higher part of the tower of course.

And Hakuba do love her >:

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-01-13 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
I'm going to end up pulling that movie out and watching it tonight...

Yay! More trauma for everyone! I have to ask, though, how much will Hakuba remember while he was possessed by his Shadow?

He does. But I do blame this exchange with Shadow!Naoto for some of his issues, though...
